Mr. Arnel B. Aranas
TOM Awardee Year 2002

Mr. Aranas rose from the ranks, starting as an Industrial Engineer at Saniwares after finishing his MBA in Ateneo. He currently occupies the position of President of American Standard (Philippines), Inc. and the first ever Filipino Chief Executive Officer of an American firm.

Mr. Nilo S. Cruz
TOM Awardee Year 1999

Right after graduation, he was immediately offered to work at IBM products, where he slowly rose from the ranks and gained experience. Mr. Cruz is currently the Country General Manager and Enterprise Systems Group Head of HP Philippines. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise to HP, being a veteran in the IT industry for more than two decades.

Ms. Lydia N. Orial
TOM Awardee Year 1997

After graduating Magna Cum Laude and Gold Medalist, Ms. Orial held positions in various companies which gave her experience mainly in planning, operations, and management. At present, she is handling dual positions namely: Vice President for Operations Group of LGU Guarantee Corporations and Managing Director / Assistant Treasurer of BAP Credit Guaranty Corporation.

Mr. Richard Albert I. Osmond
TOM Awardee Year 1997

Prior to his graduation exercise and right after finishing his academic requirements, he already joined the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). Starting as Industry Researcher, he rose from the ranks not only in DTI but also in the government. At 26, he became Quezon's Province Director. At 29, he was promoted to Regional Director of Region IV and at 35, to Assistant Secretary for Regional Operations. He is presently the Vice President for Corporate Affairs of the Investment and Capital Corporation of the Philippines (ICCP).

Ms. Ma. Cecilia C. Carlos
TOM Awardee Year 1996

After graduating Cum Laude and Gold Medalist of BS MIE, Ms. Carlos worked at the Bureau of Industrial Coordination of the Department of Industry, C-J Yulo&Sons, Novelty Philippines, and Asian Institute of Management, wherein she held positions related to her field of specialization. Currently, Ms. Carlos is the Vice President for Corporate Planning of Mesaland Development Company, while handling major IE subjects at Mapúa.

Mr. Arsenio L. Chua
TOM Awardee Year 1995

After graduating Cum Laude, Gold Medalist, and Most Outstanding Student of the Year, Mr. Chua was taken in by Security Bank and Trust Company under its Management Training Program, a two-year program exclusively for honor graduates. From that point on, he only achieved greater accomplishments in the banking industry. He started out as branch manager, then manager, and eventually, Vice President of RCBC. He is one of the most awarded RCBC officers, having received numerous yearly recognition for outstanding performance and for significant contribution in terms of deposits and net income.

Mr. Edward M. Balanag
TOM Awardee Year 1993

MR. Balanag shared his expertise with various companies including Sime Darby International Tire Company and Avon Products Manufacturing, wherein he worked as Senior Industrial Engineer (IE) and Plant IE, respectively. He also gained more experience thru working outside the country, specifically in Korea and China. Mr. Balanag is currently one of the Management Consultants of two companies: Quezon City Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Asian Pacific Golden Heart Foundation.
